I am sending my order as a gift to someone else – can I include a message?
Of course! If you would like to add a gift message, a card and envelope is offered complementary with any purchase. Please be mindful that our cards have limited space; ideally aim for a 30-word limit. Once you have selected your item(s), at the cart stage, please add your message in the 'Add note to Florist' section.
What are your bouquet sizes?
In terms of height, our bouquets are measured from the tie point (the point where the bouquet is bound with twine) to the tip of the tallest stem. Any measurement is of course an approximation. We allow ample stem length below the tie point that can be trimmed to suit your vase or vessel. Please see sizing details below:
- Luxe Bouquet: 35cm wide x 40cm high – suitable for a vase approx. 18cm in height
- Classic Bouquet: 25cm wide x 28cm high – suitable for a vase approx. 15cm in height
- Posy Bouquet: 15cm wide x 20cm high – suitable for a vase approx. 12cm in height
How should I style my dried flower bouquet?
We recommend placing your bouquet in an opaque vessel, such as a ceramic vase. A vessel with a narrower mouth often works best to keep the bouquet well-supported. Once carefully removed from its packaging, keep the bouquet with its tie intact and, holding the stems tightly, ease into the vase opening. The arrangement will sit in place with some minor adjustment. Stems can be trimmed according to the vase size. Any brown paper wrappings and tissue paper can be recycled.
Do you design florals for weddings and events?
We are currently planning our wedding and events offering! We will begin with elopements and small events, with larger events possible as the team grows. Our events offering will be released in 2025.
What is the difference between preserved flowers and dried flowers?
Preserved flowers and foliage are known for their vibrant colour and malleability, which is achieved through chemical application. While they are more resilient than dried florals, preserved flowers are more expensive given their production process. Due to their chemical processing, preserved florals are unsuitable for compost. If the time comes for a style update, we recommend disposing of any items containing preserved flowers in your regular household waste.
Dried florals, on the other hand, have undergone a natural process whereby moisture naturally evaporates from the flower stem. As a result, dried florals are typically more fragile and prone to shedding. We air-dry fresh flowers and foliage by hanging them upside down by the stem and waiting patiently for nature to do the rest. Any items containing only dried flowers can be discarded into your garden compost when desired.
